Download .xlsxThis Excel Gantt chart shows a 52-week plan: enter each task's start week and duration and the bars fill in automatically through conditional formatting.
What is inside
- Project start date cell and 52 week columns with dates
- Five example tasks and room for twenty
- Automatic end-week calculation
- Bars drawn by conditional formatting, no macros
How to use it
- Enter the project start date in the highlighted cell.
- Type each task, owner, start week and duration in weeks.
- Check the bars for overlaps and unrealistic parallel work.
- Print landscape for meetings.
Example (illustrative)
Typing Start week 5, Duration 8 fills weeks 5 to 12 for that task. (Illustrative.)
Limitations and cautions
The chart assumes tasks are measured in whole weeks and displays 52 weeks. It does not model dependencies automatically, so check sequence logic yourself and extend the grid if your project is longer. The file is free to use and edit, and the footer credits MedResearch Ninja.
