How Your Research Project Works

From enrollment to research contribution, every stage of your research experience is organized through a structured, mentor-guided workflow.

  1. Step 1 · Enroll in your research project

    Choose Your Project & Enroll

Explore available research opportunities, choose a project aligned with your interests, and complete enrollment. Once confirmed, you’ll receive information about your project’s scheduled start date.

  2. Step 2 · Your Project Room opens

    Your Research Workspace Opens Automatically

On your project’s scheduled start date, your dedicated MRN Project Room becomes accessible. This private workspace brings together your research team, project instructions, resources, and collaborative activities.

Only authorized project participants have access. Each project has a maximum of eight research participants; mentors and support staff are managed separately.

  3. Step 3 · Begin structured research tasks

    Learn, Contribute & Complete Tasks

Review the research protocol and receive clearly defined tasks with instructions, resources, and deadlines. Work through your assigned responsibilities as the project progresses.

  4. Step 4 · Collaborate with your research team

    Discuss, Ask Questions & Collaborate

Connect with fellow researchers and mentors through organized discussion threads. Ask questions, clarify research methods, share relevant updates, and participate in scientific discussions within your Project Room.

  5. Step 5 · Receive mentor feedback

Submit Your Work & Receive Feedback

Submit completed research tasks directly through the Project Room. Mentors review your submissions, provide constructive feedback, and request revisions when needed. You can respond to feedback, improve your work, and resubmit for review.

  6. Step 6 · Track research progress

    Follow Your Project’s Progress

Stay informed about research milestones, completed tasks, and manuscript development. When a manuscript is submitted, view available journal details and submission-status updates from your Project Room.

Tasks follow each project’s research methodology and dependencies. Enrollment does not guarantee authorship, publication, or journal acceptance; see our authorship policy.
